Schneider Electric had awarded a new license to Al-Handasya Co. for manufacturing 36kV switchgear type SM6-36.
Al-Handasya had successfully passed the auditing process providing all requirements as production line, technical staff, prototype and test laboratories conducted in the presence of Schneider Electric experts.

The goal of the 1st stage of the project is to produce RMU equipment up to 33Kv with Air Insulation feature (AIS), and the second stage will be producing panels with circuit breakers.
It is planned that the product will be ready for marketing by the end of 2019.

Thus Al-Handasya co. has succeeded in providing another high-quality product with competitive prices for the Iraqi market.
